Oooohh! The authors sprinkled in some different POVs in this one and I am here for it! The reader gets a little glimpse into the thinking of Caleb, Darius, Seth, Orion, and Max - so all the main boys. It helps for understanding how the relationships will develop and maybe gives them a little bit of redemption… IMO at least.

The first half is mostly the girls overcoming their continued torment by the heirs and learning how to strike back. It’s a back and forth of pranks and torture basically throughout the book. But that mixes in with the progression of the storyline and the relationship building (or relationship demolition).

We learn in this book that Tory is the idiot twin of the two. Although, they’re both a little stupid quite honestly. I always have to remember - they. are. only. 18. So they’re bound to be sort of stupid. I give them grace.

I did like seeing the two of them take back some of their pride and clap back at the Heirs. It made for some really funny scenes. I think this book set up the stage nicely for the next one.

And that ENDING! Just gonna leave me here like that… okay.

This book was fantastic. It built on the first one so well. I feel like I’m really following every moment of these characters’ lives. I liked it better than the first (which I also liked) because it had more diverse content - power struggle, relationship building, conflict, love, hate, revenge, etc.
