Finishing out the first Men of Inked Series, Worship Me follows James and Izzy about ten years or so after the beginning of the series and about five years after the end of Honor Me.

When a case comes up at ALFA PI, the private investigation firm James started with some of the other men, he must enlist the help of his wife. Due to the nature of the case involving BDSM clubs across Florida, James and Izzy use their membership in the lifestyle to find a criminal frequenting the clubs. Fortunately for both of them, they are well known in the BDSM society. And they will use that to their full advantage.

SMUT CITY. That’s right. You heard me. This book is SMUT. CITY. I don’t really read my books solely for a bunch of crazy sex scenes. I read them for the plot. So the fact that this whole series has had major and (mostly) interesting plot lines… this was just a weird way to take it. While there is a small plot, it’s basically an excuse for D/s smuttiness.

I did still like the story that was there and the way James and Izzy were able to use their already established life to help them work the case. So it was fine and whatever, but if you want to actually feel like there is a solid storyline, I recommend reading the other books in the series first. Otherwise, this just reads like an erotica.

In that same vein of a “not-that-great” plot, the drama that’s supposedly building up throughout the majority of the book ends up not really being all that dramatic. It was quick and simple to wrap up. So again, the point of the story seemed to be the smut.

That being said, it is fiery, sexy, and funny.

I enjoyed this book well enough, but that’s contingent on having read the rest of the series first. Definitely a fun read. Not the most amazing feeling of completion but satisfying.
