The real star of the story here is the emotion, betrayal, and surprises that pop up throughout the book. The whole thing is filled with twists and turns but not all of them unpredictable.

I could not put this book down from the beginning. I love these two characters! It gave me all the feels. Huang really made me feel like I was loving this story with the characters. 

This book is filled with morally grey tropes and I am here. for. them.

(1) Alex will burn the world down for Ava.

(2) Alex will consume all of her light into his darkness.

(3) Alex is willing to take Ava straight to hell with him

(4) Alex is an alpha male

(5) Alex is wildly, dangerously possessive.

It’s all very tropey and I loved every minute of it.

This was such a good enemies to lovers book. I can totally see what all the hype was about. Can you tell? Now I’m hyping it. I absolutely LOVED this book.
