Fifty Shades Freed
Fifty Shades #3
By E.L. James
TheStory
Ana has demanded that Christian make a deeper commitment to her, leaving the darkest of his past behind him. As Christian is determined to keep his relationship with Ana he agrees. The two have navigated their new boundaries for the most part and now have a relationship full of love and intimacy, while still keeping their passion alive.
A world of possibilities lie at their feet but challenges arise that neither of them could have anticipated. While Ana tries to maintain her own identity without losing it in Christian, Christian tries to quell his need for control and overcome his past, the two must also deal with a new and known threat.
TheReview
We start out with essentially what feels like an epilogue. The two of them are so happy and satisfied with their lives and their relationship. There are some flashes to the recent past, parts that happened in between the end of the last book and the start of this book.
I don’t like to use the word “boring” because the book was good, however, there was a certain lack of action throughout a lot of it. When the action hit, it absolutely slapped, but it was very spread out. It was more sweet and loving with some classic Fifty Shades fights and trauma thrown in.
The main drama is really the person sabotaging Christian. But also the fights are really intense. Their relationship has grown so much throughout the books but Christian just has such a hard time letting go and letting Ana in.
It was definitely slower than the other ones but it is still sooooo good. There was really good drama but it was very spread out. The ending and then the ending of the ending - wild. There was one last humongous hurdle for them to overcome that ultimately allows Christian to finally decide how he wants to live his future.
