I was certainly not expecting much from this book. In fact, I only read the preview - fully expecting to not even count it as a “dnf” read. And sixteen hours later, I was done with the entire book. I literally couldn’t put it down. 

Chase is a broody little man and Juliet is an analytical overthinker. I’m not normally a fan of best friend’s brother romances nor data analyzing freaks (because I am one, and this is supposed to be my escape), but I was pleasantly surprised to like Juliet and the romance story as a whole. I also really enjoyed finding Chase to be a multi-faceted MMC. Their chemistry was amazing and I really enjoyed them as the MCs.

I also LOVE the teacher-learner (Dom-sub) vibe. She’s totally green and knows nothing about the BDSM world and he’s a master of his work. Really kinky and darker play. It’s completely focused on their relationship with minimal side characters or side stories. 

Great read. Loved the whole book. Couldn’t put it down.
