I love the two MCs. Lana is so strong and opinionated. Cal is just giving trying-so-hard, I-can-fix-him, damaged boy energy. And Lana is just the woman to do it!
Cal’s struggle with addiction has been so long. And Lana has been nursing her broken heart for so long. The two really struggle to get over their issues.
This book is all about addiction and forgiveness and second chances. I’m in love. I’m so glad I stuck out the other two because this one has me immediately hooked. It’s so stinking cute!
The ending is what you’d expect (including wrapping up the series) but with a twist.
I rarely recommend reading only one book in a series even if they are standalones. But I think you could get away with it here. I really did not care for the other two but this one was a beautifully well done story. It’s good for the soul.

P.S. Lana has a daughter that she adopted from her sister because her sister is addicted to drugs. That shocked me and I would have liked to have known that prior to starting. It’s not like a secret so I don’t know if it’s a spoiler but I like to know when there is going to be a kid through the whole book.
