TheStory

When Dylan Walsh left his small town, he swore he would never return. But when his brother needs his help, that plan goes out the window. Upon his return, he runs into Rosie Gallo who has been ditched by her date.

Rosie has spent her entire life avoiding the Walsh family due to the families’ dislike for one another. But when Dylan shows up to her rescue, she may have to rethink her “No Walsh” policy.

While the attraction is there, the complications run amuck. Dylan has family issues to work through from his childhood. Rosie’s father is the epitome of disapproval. It is up to Dylan to prove he is more than his family name but he might not even believe that himself.

TheReview

This book. Ooooh man. This book. What a beautiful love story about redemption and forgiveness. All with little smatterings of drama mixed in. I freaking LOVE a Romeo and Juliet type romance. But without the double suicide.

Dylan is broken and hurting from his abusive childhood devoid of love. Rosie is pretty much put together but she still has to deal with her father’s utter hatred of Dylan. But we know that Joe is a Gallo, so it can’t be that bad.

What a difficult story to write for Bliss (I imagine) because it puts one of the first generation Gallos in a bad light. But it was so well written and flowed so well. I was so peeved when I reached the end because it totally snuck up on me and I didn’t even realize I was nearing the end until it whacked me in the head.

I just love a damaged boy. Dylan is everything I would have wanted when I was all into sad boys. Which are still my favorite fiction boys to read about. His unsureness of himself while still being utterly head over heels for Rosie was just plain adorable. And Rosie working to overcome that with him? Beautiful.

And the spicy scenes were spoooooiiiiiiicy. *phewf* But then they also flowed well with the storyline, so that was nice.

I absolutely loved reading this book. It was an easy read and it flowed so well, I didn’t want it to end. So cute. So Romantic. So drama-y.
