This whole book is absolute FIRE! The beginning is so good! Just a sneaky little thief and a monster of a prince that secretly has a soft heart.

The world building is good, concise, and easy to follow while still capturing your attention. It gives a bit of Hunger Games vibes but with twists! 

It’s Dual POV from Paedyn and Kai and while it’s not normally my favorite, it SO works in this book! Pae’s backstory is a little derivative but the whole storyline is so good that it fits right in. 

I was totally and completely hooked from start to finish.

I was SCREAMING when it ended! I’m dying to start the next one immediately. I could barely even write this review. I was so excited.

It absolutely met all of the hype and every one of my expectations. I’m totally in love with Kai and even Paedyn made me feel all the feels for her. I need a minute to soak in the glory of this book before I go onto the next one.
