The very beginning is super boring to me but necessary to get you to know Riley. Since these characters haven’t been in the other books, it took some storytelling to establish their lives. 

Mal is awful but also… WE LOVE HIM! Riley is a little self-deprecating but she’s happy with being “less than” other girls. She just wants to live her life and do what she wants. 

Initially their relationship is yikes but then it gets so sweet and then a little spicy. They’re cute. Good chemistry. 

Riley is like a feisty baby squirrel and Mal is like a serious, angry wolf. I’m obsessed with them. Also, his ghost-like appearing and disappearing?! Love it. 

Good gracious. The last 1/3 of the book is so wild.

And POOR SPIDER! I need his book to heal my soul. Mal and Riley definitely rank second for me this series so far (cause obviously Declan and Sloane claim spot number one). 

Wooooooof. That book was crazy. I love them. I love Mal. I love Riley. I love their love. I love it all. It was sweet, romance-y, and had just the right amount of action for my tastes.
