Sloane is kidnapped by Declan, second in command to the Irish mafia boss, after she is believed to have started a war that got his men killed. Not soon after, the Irish mafia boss dies and Declan no longer has to deliver her to him.

But he’s not just going to let her go, either. Sloane might be his captive but she has no intentions of submitting to him. And Declan has every intention of making her.

I am OBSESSED with these two! Oh my gosh.

Declan is so freaking attractive - even clear from the pages of a book. Sloane is a sassy, hilarious, badass. And their banter is EVERYTHING! It was legitimately funny and was so natural sounding. I laughed through so much of this book. 

Their relationship build is slow and comes about so genuinely. I found myself almost not wanting the tension to break because I was enjoying it so much. The progression throughout the whole was so well done and genuinely honest to the characters personality the whole time.

I cannot stress enough how obsessed I am with these two characters. They have both hit in my top 10 MCs ever. 

I loved the storyline and was honest to goodness SHOCKED by some of it which is always fun. The whole book was a good storyline, good relationship building, and good characters. I fell in love with these two MCs - much more than the MCs from the first book. This book made me excited for the series.
