So, in comparison to the other books in this series (which weren’t wildly exciting to begin with), this book was pretty tame.

There is a huge bombshell that drops, but it wasn’t nearly as exciting as it could have been.

It’s more like Henry and Abbi are just living their lives and planning their wedding. Not much else to talk about. 

Abbi is weirdly still very insecure and Henry is having a mid-life crisis. But they make it work.

Also, much less spicy than the other books. It ultimately seemed like a very normal, everyday relationship. Not really why I’m reading… but it was nice, I guess. 

Overall, I didn’t find this relationship to be anything special. The crazy things that happened to them, in this book and throughout the series, seemed like they were thrown in as an after thought to create some drama.

It was a decent book and a good series but I’m ready for my next read. Hopefully a more interesting one.
