After the shocking discovery Abbi made of Henry’s past, she now has to deal with the fallout.

Between a lack of communication and neither Abbi nor Henry having any experience with real relationships, their relationship only devolves.

The only question is whether or not the two can come to see eye-to-eye or if they will let outside influences force them apart.

This... book…… The DRAMA! The SHOCK! The BETRAYAL!

Henry is an absolute ass but Abbi is a freaking idiot. Henry doesn’t understand the BARE MINIMUM requirements of a relationship. Abbi is naive and expects way too much from a man who has made zero commitments to her.

So many assumptions on Abbi’s part and a complete lack of communication from Henry.

Apart from all that, this book is wildly voyeuristic. There is so much voyeurism through the whole thing. I think in the last book there was maybe a scene or two but this one has a lot of it. No yucking but just as an FYI.

Now, let’s be clear. The descriptor on the back of the book was not accurate whatsoever. Henry is gone before the halfway mark and doesn’t come back until the very end. IMO, this story is about Abbi navigating other relationships and discovering herself.

I liked this book. I liked seeing Abbi discover who she is outside of Henry (even though she is way overly obsessed with him).

I loved Ronan and it was funny too. And the DRAMA! Yikes!

But I am very curious to see what happens in the next ones given that this book was so rough for both Henry and Abbi.

I secretly hope Jed tries something and gets his dumb face punched just because he deserves it. And so help me, I better be seeing some more character development from both of these idiots.
