Christopher, a spoiled billionaire, goes incognito on a backpacking trip across Europe where he meets Hayden, a small town farm girl on a trip to see the world. 

He’s a playboy and a charmer but Hayden wants nothing to do with him… in that way. 

The two become fast friends but feelings get in the way and nothing good comes from starting a relationship off with a lie.

I loved this story. Honestly, it was really slow but I loved that. It felt like a real relationship developing. It’s not fast paced at all and the relationship development is really gradual.

Hayden is such a solid character. A small town girl but she’s not an idiot. And Christopher is such a spoiled douche, it was hilarious. He’s just finding who he is and trying to survive this little experiment of his. 

Their banter is hilarious and their relationship is such a sweet little flower just blossoming into something more. It was funny and sweet and adorable.

I could see how someone might find the pacing boring but I was so into it. It kept my complete attention. 

The ending with them and Eddie was cute but the patch up with Christopher and Hayden left a lot to be desired. He was awful to her and didn’t try to understand her literal DEPRESSION episode at all. But ultimately he did okay and it was cute. 

Definitely a slow, steady book. Not a very dramatic read. I’d call it a slow burn, friends to lovers, romance story. I loved it but it’s definitely a very specific vibe you’d have to enjoy in order to like the book.
