While Brie tries to figure out whom she can trust, she also is caught between her feelings for the Seelie Prince Ronan and the Unseelie Finn.

The beginning of the book is immediately captivating. There isn’t too much information or world building thrown out. It’s all slowly introduced and sprinkled throughout the book. So, you only get the information you need, when you need it. It’s all necessary in order to follow the story as it goes. 

Throughout the entire book, there is a big air of mystery. Whatever questions I had, the answers were few and far between. But it gives an exciting vibe to the book and keeps you wanting to read in order to find out the answers you are looking for. It’s like a puzzle that we’re trying to figure out right alongside the main character. 

Think A Court of Thorns and Roses puzzle but more difficult in the best way.

The relationships! Brie and Finin have fantastic banter. The way they describe their feelings for each other is butterfly inducing. On the other hand, Brie and Sebastian’s relationship is so sweet and loving and safe. 

All of the deceit and lies and guild goes on for quite a while. Maybe a little too long. It’s just betrayal left, right, and center from everyone all over the place.

Oh! And there is a BIG TWIST at the end. The whole last 10-15% of the book is so wild. I could not put the book down! I was just freaking out the entire time. 

Beeeee prepared for a cliff hanger. The whole book ends with unanswered questions. I am completely obsessed and need the next book immediately.
