Ana Marie Kelly rescues Trace Caldo from the clutches of her family after he gets kidnapped, bound, and blindfolded. Once she gets him away from his kidnappers, she proposes a fake marriage to save him from his would-be killers. Bonus for Ana, it will help her keep her out-of-wedlock pregnancy with a stranger a secret from her overly-religious father.

Once safe and away from the threats hanging over them, their fake marriage risks either falling about or becoming something more.

Well, doesn’t Bliss just jump right into Trace being kidnapped. No preamble. No preface. Just Trace - bound and blindfolded in captivity. Seemed a little out of left field but okay, let’s just move right along.

Obviously it’s a fake marriage romance, but it is so sweet. After the psycho drama of Trace being literally kidnapped and waiting to die… there really isn’t a whole lot of drama. There is just Ana’s atrocious family, dealing with her pregnancy, and “not knowing” if the relationship will work out.

You can’t just start a book right off in the middle of a kidnapping and then make a snooze fest for the rest of the book! What the heck?!

Therefore, it was only an okay read. It’s not very memorable. So, a detailed review of a book that didn’t have drama and wasn’t that memorable? A little difficult. I probably won’t even remember these characters in a week. You could probably skip this read entirely and get by in the whole series without being lost one bit.
