TheStory

Mammoth and Tamara are back from Men of Inked: Heatwave #3, Wildfire. While Mammoth always thought he would be a member of the Disciples MC, everything in his life changed when he met Tamara. Now she’s finished school and he is ready to start his life with her, which means trying to leave the Disciples.

All is going according to plan until someone from his past comes back and everything is thrown into chaos. Before they start building their life together, Mammoth and Tamara have to deal with everything being hurled at them and work to keep their freedom and their future together intact.

The prologue starts off right where Blaze ended but this time, from Mammoth’s perspective. If you are anything like me, expect panic on your part. It is wild.

There is a banger of a surprise right out the gate and it’s the catalyst for the whole of the drama in this book. We get a full encapsulation of the funny, the drama, and the love, with a dash of spice.

Once the drama is built and settled, there is a time jump in order to keep the story moving along. Then another jump comes again when that part of the story is settled. So it’s a bit of a long storyline but squished together via two time jumps. But it is not multiple timelines. One timeline, two gaps in time

I loved getting a little more of Mammoth and Tamara. They are one of my favorite couples in the Men of Inked world. They are real, they fight, they annoy each other, but they love hard. And that is beautiful.

It was a solid read but not one of my favorites of the series. Still, no guy beats Mammoth as far as this reviewer is concerned.
